Judith Hummel, Esther Zahel – “Your Hand on my Shoulder”

In this exhibition, different searches tap towards one another and towards the artistic issue of “Where am I at home?” While seeking out her roots, Hummel follows in the footsteps of her grandmother and leaves behind cinematic and performative tracks anchored in remembrance and bodily awareness. Zahel approaches the question through painting and in this way creates pieces of furniture and sometimes entirely redesigned interiors.
