Quantum leaps made easy: In the special exhibition “Licht und Materie" (Light and Matter), you will become a photon yourself as soon as you enter through a double slit and can then experience the history and basics of quantum physics in a playful way. Right next to it, in the entrance hall in front of the auditorium steps, will be the stage for science shows, which always provide more than a little excitement – just like the guided tours of the exhibitions, the workshops in the Experimentier-Werkstatt (Experimental Workshop) or the spectacular demonstrations in the Chemie-Hörsaal (Chemistry Lecture Hall). In the meantime, you will almost automatically end up in the large aviation hall, which will be transformed into a gigantic lounge with a bar and live music. From there, you can take a relaxed stroll through the 20 permanent exhibitions or stop by the KI.Fabrik in the basement of the Forum of the Future on Ludwigsbrücke, which will be open to the general public for the first time during the Long Night.
